                         KAISHO
is a standard block style script. It is also called Shinsho. Kaisho is taught in elementary and junior high school as part of Japanese language class.

 

                                GYOSHO
is intermediate, semi-cursive script.

 

 

                          SOSHO
is highly cursive script that is characterized by freedom and aesthetic appeal.

 

 

Stroke Order

  All characters have established stroke order that has been developed in through ancestral knowledge and experience.

Why is stroke order important?
Consistent stroke order makes it easier to remember complicated characters, especially Chinese characters.
•There is a natural balance in the character.
•Standardized stroke order makes it easier to write characters quickly.
